3/28 CRJ Swing Outing Let’s get a group of dancers going to this fundraising event in Capitola and support our sister scene! The fundraiser is for their first swing festival in April and they’ve been working hard to make it happen. Plus, Poi Rogers is always super fun to dance to! 4/2 CRJ Swing Outing We will be offering a beginning swing lesson while the band sets up at Pop and Hiss starting at 6:00. Sweet Thursday, our kindred spirit band, will play from 7:00-10:00. CRJ will host a lesson and dance at the PG Masonic Lodge as part of First Friday. Free lesson at 6:00 followed by Jeannie Liu’s band, House of Jade, who are already working on their set list to provide our dancers with lots to tempt us on the floor 6:30-8:30.
Bring your appetite because Chef Eric will once again be on scene with his pop up bistro.

4th of July Parade in Monterey - The Monterey Hot Jazz Society and the Cannery Row Jumpers made the front page of the Monterey Herald again in 2019!
We performed a few of our favorite dances and then gave a short swing dance lesson Friday (6/21) from 12:30-1:15 at the Sunset Center.
