Highlands Inn
The Sunset Lounge at the Highlands Inn is a Hyatt owned hotel located in the Carmel Highlands just south of Carmel on Highway 1. They offer live, swing-able music on Saturday nights. The venue has a fabulous large wood dance floor and a gorgeous view of the Big Sur coast. There is no cover charge.
Cibo
Cibo is an Itallian restaurant and bar offering live music Tuesday - Sunday in downtown Monterey. Typically the music is more swing-able Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with DJ's and rock bands on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday nights are lots of fun with David Holodiloff's band playing from 7-10. They have a small tile dance floor and there is no cover charge.
Sly McFlys
Sly McFlys is a night club located on Cannery Row hosting live music with no cover charge 7 nights a week. Music usually starts at 8:30 and although the music typically is not swing music, you can often times swing to it. The dance floor is of decent size and there is no cover charge.
ASI on Tuesday nights
The Moon Glow Jazz Band plays lots of swingable music from 7-9. There is a free ballroom lesson from 6-7 and delicious refreshments during the band break arranged by Chef Michael. ($9 members/ $10 non-members)
